Paintings by Danette S Jones

March and April 2014

I would like to invite you to visit the Birmingham Botanical Gardens during March and April to view a collection of my paintings.  Several are inspired by Eudora Welty’s 1930 photo taken of the south during the Depression which I have been so graciously granted permission to paint from.. Other paintings reflect short stories of people while others are portraits of the animal world.  The Gardens are a great venue with a gallery, library, restaurant, gift store , restored glass Conservatory and of course the gardens.
